To help new users quickly set up their devices and easily view data on power generation and consumption, we have compiled a beginner’s guide that outlines the standard steps to follow after downloading the app. Each step includes a link to a detailed tutorial for easy reference.

Instructions: Please follow the sequence “Account Registration → Create Plant → Add Hardware Devices → Troubleshoot Offline Issues and Device Networking → Plant Customization” to complete the device binding and set up step by step.
I. Account Registration
After downloading the SOLARMAN app, please register for an account first. Personal and business accounts are separate and cannot be used interchangeably; they must be registered separately. You can register using either your mobile phone number or email address. If mobile phone number registration is not yet available in your country, please use email registration.

II. Creating a Plant
After registering your account, you will need to create a new Plant. Please fill in the Plant details based on your actual scenario. The Plant type directly affects how data is displayed on the platform, so please ensure the information is accurate.

III. Adding Devices
- Ask the Plant creator to share the Plant with you so you can view the Plant data;
- Have the Plant creator unbind the device, then rebind it yourself;
Note: If you cannot contact the creator of the Plant to which the device is bound, please contact us with a photo showing the device’s SN, and we will assist you.

IV. Troubleshooting Device Offline Status and Network Configuration
- 4G Models: These devices come with a SIM card pre-installed by default. Ensure the SIM card is active and has no outstanding fees that could cause service suspension.
- Wi-Fi Models: You must manually configure the device’s network settings. Refer to the corresponding tutorial link for instructions.
V. Plant Customization
Once the device status changes to “Online,” go to the [Plant Details] page to configure electricity rate parameters, customize data display preferences, and more as needed.

VI.Plant Share
Member: Can view power generation data, details, alerts, and device information, but cannot edit or configure the Plant.
