Network Settings

Primary Use Cases

1. After adding a new device, network configuration is required before data updates occur.

2. When a device goes offline, network reconfiguration is necessary.

3.I cannot connect the WiFi Data Logger to the Router.

If the logger is equipped with a WiFi module, it is required to operate networking configuration to ensure normal communication.

Go to「Device List」and check if there is "Networking Configuration" button. If not, it means networking configuration is not required.

Web-Based Network Configuration Process

Please follow these steps for network connection:

Step 1. Connect to the Data Logger's AP network:

Locate the Data Logger network by opening WLAN on your phone or computer and searching for "AP_". xxxxxxxx" (where xxxxxxx is the Data Logger serial number).

Step 2. Access Configuration Page:

Open a web browser: After connecting to the Data Logger's AP network, open a web browser on your phone or computer.
Enter IP Address: In the browser's address bar, enter “10.10.100.254”.
Log In: Enter the username and password “admin”.

Step 3. Run Setup Wizard:

Check if an IP address has been obtained, if the signal strength is greater than 15, and if the server is connectable. If an IP address cannot be obtained, please try configuring again.

Troubleshooting Network Configuration Failures

In rare cases, some users may experience network configuration failures. If the app fails to configure the network, we recommend following the instructions on the web portal.
If the web portal configuration also fails, please follow the instructions below to configure the network by binding the MAC address or setting a static IP address on your router.

For instructions on setting a static IP address, see: Fixed IP Settings

Instructions for binding the MAC address to the router are as follows:
1. Go to router background management interface. (Example: Xiaomi router)

2.Check the terminal number that connected to router, then find the logger SN and MAC address.
3.Back to router home page, click router settings and select LAN settings.

4.Select DHCP static IP assignment and click “Addto”, then click “One-clic kbinding” to bind related logger and MAC address.

If neither a static IP address nor binding the MAC address to the router allows you to connect to the network
Please try to use your cell phone hotspot to match the network, if it can be online, that is your router has network restrictions on our server, you need to contact your carrier to open the whitelist.

IP:47.88.8.200/47.254.74.158
TCP Port:10000
This is our IP address and port.

If it can't connect to the server even with your cell phone hotspot, the logger may be broken.
