1. Obtain and Safeguard Your Credentials

Once your application has been approved, the platform will provide you with an APP ID and an APP SECRET. Please note:

● Do not share the token with any third party;

● Ensure the confidentiality and security of the token and all login details;

● The token is the sole credential required to access the API.

2. Obtain an API Token

Once activated, obtain an access token via the following endpoint, replacing `appId` with your actual APP ID:

When making the request, include the `appSecret`, your registered email address or username, and your password (encrypted using SHA256 and converted to lowercase) in the Header.

When calling the API, the password must not be transmitted in plain text; it must be encrypted using SHA256, and the result must be in lower-case format.

3. Use the correct API domain

Your account belongs to the ‘International Data Centre’; please ensure you use the domain https://globalapi.solarmanpv.com to access the service

4. Business accounts must additionally provide the `orgId`

If you have a SOLARMAN Business account, you must include the additional parameter `orgId` (i.e. the organisation ID—provided by the platform upon activation) in the token retrieval API call.

5. Comply with call frequency and quota limits

Capacity limit: 300 calls per second;

The free version allows 200,000 calls per year; please contact us in advance to upgrade to a paid plan if you are approaching this limit, as exceeding it will result in a temporary suspension of service;

You must not exceed the call frequency limits explicitly stated in the API documentation.

7. Enabling Features

Upon initial account activation, the [open] feature described in the “Accounts and Permissions” section is enabled by default.

Other features set to [disable] by default require integration with the platform; please submit a separate application to enable them.
