API Activation Guide

Dear Customer Thank you for your interest in Wuxi IGEN Technology Co. (hereinafter referred to as "IGEN Technology" or "us") and for considering using our SOLARMAN OpenAPI service. Before you officially subscribe, we would like to provide you with some important information.

First, the API service is free for SOLARMAN Smart user. If you are a SOLARMAN Business user or an SOLARMAN Smart user with more than three Plant, you will be required to pay for the API service.


Free Version（Available only to SOLARMAN Smart users , Exceeding any one of these will incur a fee.）
  1. API call volume of 200,000 times per year
  2. Number of plants within 3

If your usage is approaching our free limit, please contact us in advance to pay for API fees. If you exceed the limit, we will have to temporarily suspend your service.

Additionally, to ensure that the rights and interests of both parties are fully protected when using the API, You may view the contents of the API Developer Agreement. After confirming and agreeing.

please write the email customerservice@solarmanpv.com with the statement “I have understood all the contents of the Developer Agreement and agree to be bound by it” to complete the agreement confirmation process.

Secondly, when reviewing and accepting our agreement, please provide the following information to enable us to verify your eligibility:

  1. Your email account
  2. Your role—individual, installer, investor, or distributor?
  3. Reason for requesting API access (e.g., if you operate a website, please share its URL)
  4. API access type—Free Plan/Paid Plan (Paid Plan requires specification of package type)
p.s. If you agree to activate the API, the email must include the following statement: I have read and understood all terms of the Developer Agreement and agree to be bound by them.

After submitting the above information via email, we will provide you with a new APP ID and APP SECRET.

After you confirm the agreement, our service specialist will send you account information and OpenAPI usage documentation via email.


Free Version Activation Process:
Provide information → Platform review → Confirm API activation

Paid Version Activation Process:
Provide information (select package type) → Platform review and provide payment details → Customer makes payment → Platform verifies and activates API upon confirming payment receipt
