What is the function of the dial on the LD4G/LD2G?

The dial on the data logger acts as a resistive switch. By default, it is set to the “TERMS” position. If the on-site 485 cable exceeds 200 meters in length, you can set it to the ‘NO’ position to increase the resistance and ensure stable data transmission. Under normal circumstances, the “TERMS” position is sufficient.
