Open Data Online User Guide

Open Data currently supports only P1 meter readers, smart plug, smart rail-mounted meters, and near-infrared meter readers. For specific models and supported firmware versions, please refer to the Open Data online user manual.

If you encounter any issues whilst using the software, please refer first to the ‘Error Codes’ section in the documentation.

Note:  Please note: The products listed above only support Open Data; they do not support the Open API. The relevant features were released via Energy Ease in June 2026.

P.S. Smart plugs cannot currently be enabled for Open Data via Energy Ease. To enable this feature, please submit a support ticket at the bottom of the Help Centre to contact the platform.
