FAQ for Three-Phase Smart Meters

FAQ for Three-Phase Smart Meters

Q:What causes a three-phase smart meter to trigger an alarm for “current loss” and “phase overcurrent”?
A:
1. The product’s logic: When the current in any phase of a three-phase system is less than 1A, the platform will not display it and show it as 0.
2. This is an alarm caused by an imbalance in the currents of phases A, B, and C.
The currents of all three phases must be balanced. The device must be connected to all three phases simultaneously.
What you need to check:
1. Confirm whether the household loads are evenly distributed across each phase.
2. Check if there are three-phase loads in the home.
